It has become increasingly apparent that the most important feature for Psi's continuing success is the aquisition and subsequent implementation of the moon on a stick. This should be implemented through a meta-layer API/FID such that other galactic bodies can be loaded as plugins in the future. Possibly in the form of the increasingly popular key-chain USB devices.

Dear user,
While we are aware of this fact, we cannot resolve it for 0.11. This version will be concentrated on porting to Qt4, which will make it easier to provide the feature you ask for.

Wow! That would rock. Could you please do the same with the Sun for 0.11? That is really what I have always wanted for Psi...
Comment by Kevin Smith (kev) - Friday, 25 November 2005, 11:05 GMT-4
That will have to wait for the plugins interface. Remko has added a dependency.

Let's not limit the interface to this solar system. I'm partial to Orion's Belt.
Comment by Remko Tronçon (spike) - Friday, 25 November 2005, 11:16 GMT-4
Dear Sir/Madam,
Orion's belt is out of the scope of Psi, because of the Qt4 library we use. We limit ourselves to communication within the solar system, and try to do as well as we can on that. If you really need to reach orion's belt, please consider other clients.
Comment by Francisco Joaquín Rodríguez Prados (sabaoth) - Friday, 25 November 2005, 11:20 GMT-4
That would probably lead to memory leak, due to synchronisation problems. The consistency between the original galactic body and the replica stored in memory might get damaged, for Qt4 does not support light speed.

How many pounds per square inch does this software support?
Comment by Kevin Smith (kev) - Tuesday, 24 January 2006, 11:31 GMT-4
42

Ok, now Kev, Remko, and I are all responsible for the moon.

I'm afraid I have to add to the scope of this task. You'll see the resulting changes in the dependencies graph. Thank you.

It occurs to me that the number of comments on this task has increased by an undue amount.

After some consideration, I've determined that this task needs more consideration.
